When choosing a hotel, my attention was drawn to the open terrace overlooking the bay and Vesuvius. This is the main feature of the hotel, but not the only one! The interiors are richly decorated in Art Nouveau style! You can't take your eyes off the smooth lines and patinated gold! You expect the door to open and a sophisticated lady in silks and with a long mouthpiece will come out of the room, The staff of the hotel maintain an atmosphere of chic and bourgeoisie, you are discreetly welcome, always friendly. In the lobby the guest will be offered a cool drink while the luggage is delivered to the room.
It's better not to book on the ground floor. Even double-glazed windows cannot damp out street noise. And if there are temperamental Neapolitans arguing under your windows, it feels like they are right in your bedroom.

I had breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace with amazing views of the ocean. The fresh pastries and interesting cheeses made it even better. The decor of the hotel was unique and beautiful, adding to the overall charm. The location was convenient, with easy access to the old town, ferry to Capri, and plenty of restaurants. The reception service may not have been overly friendly, but they were efficient and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel staff really helpful and friendly. Hotel is more like a villa and traditional italian style. Very quaint and true taste of italy
Go for room sea view as some rooms look out onto street.

Found that it was no where near a four star hotel as advertised. Total waste of money The carpet, rugs and room overall had seen better days. Air conditioning barely worked, room was like a sauna at night. Am stunned with earlier reviews of this hotel as they were way off the mark.
